Email Reminders
AX users can easily create email reminders for themselves and / or other individuals. Do you want individuals to be notified about a contract expiring in six months or the end of an employee probation in 90 days? This can easily be done directly from ApplicationXtender.
AX Activity Alerts
In addition to being able to run ad hoc reports of what has already been viewed or modified. You can create alerts to send emails when a specific document or user accesses specific records.
- Select the “Create Alert Tab”
- Then Select the specific AX Application that you wish to create the Alert for.
- Enter an Email Address of the Receiving Party
- Identify the criteria in which you want to create an alert on.

You set the limitations and the information making it easy to customize your own alerts and auditing.

AX User History Report
The integrity of business information is important for ApplicationXtender customers. An important aspect of digitally maintaining business data is being able to functionally audit a documents history. ECM Toolbox has simplified this process by creating the User History Reports and Alert tool.
This tool allows you to search a specific documents audit trail and also research the past activity of a specific user. In addition, your clients can be proactive and set alerts for when specifics documents or information is accessed or modified. You can also be notified about individual user’s activity.
The User History Report tool was created to be simple yet effect. It is easy to use and customize your results.
First – Select the AX Application you wish to review
Second – Modify the date range you are auditing
Third – Select the Employee or User that you wish to audit
Finally – Specify the index values in which you want to see results for.
Generate the report and your results are displayed below in an easy to use tabular fashion that can be exported to excel or filtered directly within the results.

Query Results Multi-Index Collapse Feature
Are multiple index values for one document congesting your AX Query Result Screen? Does the Query Result Screen open too slowly?
Our Multi-Index Collapse feature makes work easier and faster. It automatically displays a condensed list that can easily be expanded. It also dramatically increases the speed of the results displayed.
Document Grouping displays record with multiple values only once in the result set.
Multi-Indexed Documents will have a small arrow icon in the left most column.
- Clicking on the line item expands the multi-indexed result sets
- Expanded, Multi-indexed results display a grey background and no arrow indicator in the left most column
- Note that the Document ID are the same for all expanded results as they pertain to the same document image
Signature Card Feature
The Signature Card Feature allows you to create a quick new document from a snippet of an existing document or form.

The Signature card is easy to use and has multiple business applications. First Select the customer document or form that requires extracting a signature. Then the configuration is easy!
- Select the document type for the new doc to be created
- Select to create the card and choose your custom settings
- Lasso the area in which you want to capture for the new document (shown highlighted on document)
- Or use the “Location” feature exactly the portion of the document to be captured for the new doc
- Save your settings
Now the new customer card will be created every time the system receives a document of this type!
